Hello friends. This is a Let’s Play video of “Hunter’s Moon: A Sovereign Syndicate Adventure”. A Victorian Steampunk Roguelite Deckbuilder. Choose from four characters with unique cards and abilities. Customize your deck and character as you investigate a mysterious plague. Battle corrupted beasts and bosses in turn-based combat to unlock powerful relics and enchanted tarot cards.
Hunter’s Moon expands the Sovereign Syndicate universe through a Victorian steampunk roguelite deckbuilder that serves as both prequel and genre pivot for fans of the original RPG. Developed by Crimson Herring Studios and published by Zugalu Entertainment, this takes place before the events of Sovereign Syndicate, sending you to investigate a mysterious plague corrupting wildlife across dark forests and winding streets filled with fell beasts and monstrosities. Four unique agent classes offer distinct playstyles – hulking brutes who smash through opposition, cunning soldiers with weapons expertise, alchemists wielding potions and explosives, or other specialized approaches – each with their own card pools to build around. The roguelite structure means no two runs play identically: succeed or retreat, you’ll collect money, cards, items, relics, and salvaged materials to upgrade your agents and airship for subsequent attempts. Enchanted tarot cards add another customization layer, modifying runs through combinable effects that improve your odds against the formidable bosses awaiting across 4 story chapters. Turn-based combat demands learning enemy traits and tactics while crafting decks from hundreds of card variations with upgrade paths. The game has resonated well with players since its November 2025 launch, and bundles with Sovereign Syndicate and other titles from the Zugalu catalog offer entry points for newcomers to the universe. Digital soundtrack and artbook DLC provide extras for those wanting to dive deeper into the atmospheric Victorian horror aesthetic.
