Hello friends. This is a Let’s Play video of “Barrel Roll” demo version. Barrel Roll is a roguelike deckbuilder, turn based, taking place in a futuristic far west. The deck ? A 6 slot revolver barrel. Gather bullets with special effects, customize your revolver’s barrel to create strong synergies and take down as much criminals as you can.
Barrel Roll reimagines the roguelike deckbuilder through a brilliantly simple hook: your deck is a six-slot revolver barrel. Set in a futuristic far west, you collect bullets with special effects across five archetypes – Damage, Shield, Initiative, Focus, and Killer – arranging them in your cylinder to create devastating synergies against hordes of outlaws. Turn-based combat has you facing groups of 3 to 5 bandits, choosing your next bullet from the upcoming three in your barrel rotation to chain mind-blowing combos. Breaking enemy shields delays their turns on the timeline, and three active skills let you turn duels around when things get desperate. Between fights, you choose destinations on a branching map, collecting resources that prove useful at the saloon and gathering the 64 unique bullets and 30 trinkets that define your build variety. Nine bosses await across five escalating threat levels designed to ensure even experienced players face genuine challenge. Published by Rubika Supinfogame (a French game design school), this represents student developers delivering a polished, focused experience that has resonated strongly with the deckbuilder community since its October 2025 launch. The stylized 3D presentation gives the space western aesthetic real personality, and 31 Steam achievements provide goals for players hunting completion across multiple runs.
