Akuma’s Bloodrain: When DOOM Got a Katana and Moved to Feudal Japan (Gameplay)

Hello friends. This is a Let’s Play video of “Akuma’s Bloodrain”. As ninja Akiji, you will blow up and slash hordes of akumas/yokais that are attacking his japanese village. Move quickly through the arena by climbing and dashing, leaving a trail of demon’s blood and meat slices!

Somewhere between the chainsaw-revving fury of DOOM and the katana-swagger of Shadow Warrior sits Akuma’s Bloodrain, a 2.5D boomer shooter from Brazilian indie duo Sensen Games that drops ninja Akiji into a feudal nightmare overrun by yokai and akumas. Built on the bones of every coin-op cabinet that ate my pocket money back in the 90s, it pairs a meaty shotgun with shredding claws and wall-climbing parkour, demanding you dash, slice, and reload your way through demon-choked arenas before the timer guts you. The result is a pixel-soaked, blood-drenched arcade fever dream that feels like unearthing a lost Saturn import from your grandfather’s attic, where every kill posts to a global leaderboard and every badge earned whispers that you’re slightly less mortal than the guy ranked above you.
