Hello friends. This is a Let’s Play video of “Flufftopia: Fluffmazing Edition”. Flufftopia is a cute little clicker game with a story. Help your town to grow and eventually become Flufftopia! But wait… could there be even more?
Solo developer Daniel da Silva has built a quiet little career on cosy clicker-shaped Trojan horses, and Flufftopia: Fluffmazing Edition slots neatly into that lineage. Released under his SmokeSomeFrogs banner, it presents itself as a chunky, cartoony 2D incremental about nurturing a humble settlement into the fluffy utopia of its dreams, complete with a relaxing soundtrack, lightweight automation, and the kind of warm pastel palette that practically demands a mug of cocoa. The hook, though, is the quiet promise threaded through all that sweetness: multiple endings, a story humming beneath the click-and-build loop, and the recurring whisper of “could there be more?” which any veteran of Universal Paperclips or A Dark Room will recognise as the sound of a developer with plans for you. At five bucks for the Fluffmazing rebuild, it is precisely the sort of evening-sized rabbit hole the genre was invented for.
