Lunchbreak Tactics: Super Auto Pets at the Supermarket (Gameplay)

Hello friends. This is a Let’s Play video of “Lunchbreak Tactics”. Lunchbreak Tactics is a strategic auto-battler card game set in a chaotic supermarket backstore. Draft cards, min-max your squad, build ridiculous synergies, then battle players asynchronously. Play your way to climb the ranks with quick runs, no timer, limitless combos, and endless replay.

Anyone who has accidentally spent three hours in a Super Auto Pets queue when they meant to play “one quick game” will recognise the gravity well that Borealys Games is building with Lunchbreak Tactics. From the Canadian studio behind Mages of Mystralia, co-published with Vsoo Games, this is a strategic auto-battler card game set in the backroom of a fictional supermarket called Anymart, where you and a roster of perpetually shrugging retail trainees turn whatever happens to be on the shelves, toilet paper, slow cookers, the office therapist, into chaotic combat synergies. Pick a Hero for the passive, pick two Clans for the card pool, then spend twelve rounds drafting, freezing, upgrading, and stacking buffs into the kind of accidentally legal combo that makes opponents close the app for the day. Asynchronous PvP, ranked seasons crowning the monthly Ultimate Slacker, and a daily King of the Hill mode keep the hooks firmly buried, and the hand-drawn anime presentation gives the whole thing the breezy comic-strip charm of a workplace sitcom that quietly grew a competitive ladder. For a game literally designed to be played on a lunch break, it has terrifyingly long legs.
