Hello friends. This is a Let’s Play video of “Underchoice”. Become the overseer and shape the fate of those who come knocking at the door. Each decision you make, whether it is to let in a stranger, to use your resources on something, or to risk the safety of the bunker.
Anyone who has ever wrestled with letting Jorji through the checkpoint one more time in Papers Please will recognise the moral wringer Targem Games is building inside their next pixel-art curio, Underchoice. From the studio behind Crossout, this is a post-apocalyptic bunker-overseer sim about the cruel arithmetic of fallout-shelter management: who gets in, who doesn’t, when to share the medicine, when to ration the food, when to investigate that suspicious clanging sound from level three before it eats the generator. Every knock at the door is a coin flip between salvation and a saboteur, every resource decision a quiet vote on someone’s chances, and every run threads its way toward one of many alternate endings shaped entirely by the calls you made under pressure. Releasing June 1, 2026 with a demo and a playtest signup already live on the page, it sits in the lineage of 60 Seconds!, Sheltered, and This War of Mine, dressed in chunky pixel art and the kind of quiet, atmospheric dread that makes your own kitchen feel marginally less safe after every session.
