Hell On Earth: Risk of Rain 2 Meets Death Must Die with a Friend Along (Alpha Gameplay)

Hello friends. This is a Let’s Play video of “Hell On Earth” alpha version. Hell on Earth is a fast paced action rogue-lite game, playable solo or in co-op with a friend. Battle hordes of enemies, collect gold, gems, gear, and enhance your hero to defeat powerful bosses. Choose your class, customize your hero’s skills, select your appearance, and save the world from Hell.

Once you have spent a few hundred hours bouncing between the screen-clearing survivors-likes of the last couple of years, you start to notice which ones bring a friend to the party, and Hell On Earth from 2Frogs Software is one of them. Pitched as a fast-paced action roguelite playable solo or in two-player online co-op (with LAN as a quietly welcome bonus), it leans on a 3D top-down camera and a class-based roster of demon-slaying heroes, each with their own pool of exclusive spells, to spin out runs that feel more Risk of Rain 2 and Death Must Die than Vampire Survivors. The structure goes deep: 12 chaotic levels stuffed with 48 unique bosses, gear that loots in true Diablo fashion, gems that socket into that gear for build-defining perks, and level-up choices spanning active spells, passives, and stat boosts every time you tick over. Gothic-magic atmosphere, blood-and-corpses splatter, and the kind of evolving-threat encounter design that keeps the second-screen YouTube tab paused. For roguelite veterans who specifically miss being able to drag a friend through Hell with them, this is the kind of co-op-first horde action the genre quietly needs more of.
