Hello friends. This is a Let’s Play video of “Hannah”. A surreal 3D platformer about childhood trauma, 80s-inspired horror, and broken memories. Explore, feel, and choose your path across a VHS-styled dreamworld with multiple endings.
There’s a very specific brand of indie horror that trades jump scares for the slow bruise of an 80s childhood remembered too vividly, and Spaceboy’s Hannah is quietly building an audience for exactly that mood. From Mexican developer Spaceboy under the reliable QUByte Interactive banner, this 2024 3D puzzle-platformer follows Hannah, a girl searching for her missing favourite doll across a VHS-tape dreamworld shaped by her own mind, her memories, and the shadowed corners of a 1980s bedroom that only childhood horror could invent. The gameplay leans exploration, atmosphere, and puzzle-solving, with an environment that reshapes around the choices you make and multiple endings determined by the fragments of self you gather along the way. The visual language pulls from Yume Nikki, Little Nightmares, and OMORI in roughly equal measure, dressed in a lo-fi VHS filter and scored by a Grammy-winning composer whose work absolutely does the heavy lifting in the more haunted stretches. Bundled cleverly with QUByte stablemates Bem Feito, Raccoo Venture, and Runa & the ChaikurĂș Legacy for the wider indie-hunter shelf, festival-award laurels already on the page, and a free demo waiting to answer whether this particular flavour of dread is for you. Small games about small horrors are one of the medium’s honest pleasures, and Hannah is one of the better ones on the shelf right now.
