Hello friends. This is a Let’s Play video of “Spooker” demo version. A spooky roguelite pool-like where you play across increasingly weird tables against your new best friend Ralphie, the cursed ventriloquist dummy. Steady your shots, build your combos and rack up enough points to make your escape.
Somewhere between the score-chasing horror of Cloverpit, the score-chasing everything of Balatro, and the physics-based satisfaction of a well-cued combo shot lives Spooker, a horror roguelite pool-like from Space Dragon Games. The elevator pitch: you have been trapped in a smoke-drenched speakeasy across the table from Ralphie, a cursed ventriloquist dummy with a wooden grin and a very long memory of what happened to his last opponent, and the only way out is to rack the balls, sink them precisely, build absurd combos, and stack the multipliers high enough to earn your escape. Every table is stranger than the last, magic balls introduce Balatro-style scoring shenanigans, upgrades and roguelite progression tune each run, and a live-recorded big band swing jazz soundtrack keeps the noir energy pouring out of the speakers. Indie Insights called it “a score-chasing billiards obsession in the vein of Balatro or Cloverpit”, Linux Games Consortium described the hook as the kind of thing you send to a friend with no context, and the demo is up on Steam right now for anyone brave enough to see what Ralphie has planned. For a genre nobody thought needed inventing (roguelite horror pool), this looks like a genuine sleeper contender.
